Learning Support

Learning Support Services, often referred to as the "Learning Center," is a student academic service that helps students maximize their academic potential. Generally, students can access a variety of programs to help increase their college-level math, science, writing, reading, and learning strategies. Such services may include tutoring or supplemental instruction, access to self-paced learning materials (computer programs), editing services, general academic/peer counseling, and specialized classes (speed reading, study-skills, test taking, ESL, and exam preparation). Other services may include student support groups and retention services. The Learning Center is often a component of the counseling office or the career services office.
