Computing Services
Colleges and universities are well-tuned to student needs for computers and related services for academic purposes. Many colleges and universities have "labs" (rooms) set up with computers and printers for students to use for word-processing, projects, or other academically related activities. Some campuses also provide students with the opportunity to set up e-mail accounts and access the World Wide Web, attend software training classes, and obtain advice on the purchasing or servicing of a personal computer through local stores.
