ApplyTexas Application (formerly Texas Common Application) for Admission to Four-Year Institutions
One single application (Paper or Electronic), works for every Texas public university.
In addition, you may use the electronic application to apply to Baylor University, Dallas Baptist University, Houston Baptist University, Huston-Tillotson University, McMurry University, Schreiner University, Texas AM University System Health Science Center, Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center, The University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio, and the University of Dallas.
The following application types are available electronically at www.applytexas.org: U.S. and International Freshman, Undergraduate U.S. and International Transfer, Transient, Undergraduate Readmit, U.S. and International Graduate, U.S. and International Law School.
The ApplyTexas Application eliminates the need to complete multiple applications.
The Code Book (2007-2008) (2008-2009) contains the majors and major codes for the 35 Texas public universities and is used for completing Item 18 of the Freshman application and Item 16 of the application for Transfer, Transient, and Former Students. The Code Book also lists college and university codes, county codes and state codes.
