TEXAS Grant

The Toward Excellence, Access and Success or TEXAS Grant Program pays college costs for students with financial need who complete the Recommended High School Program or Distinguished Achievement Program in an accredited Texas high school. More information, including eligibility information is available by clicking on the TEXAS Grant icon below.

The TEXAS Grant program sponsored by the State of Texas does not require students to pay an application fee. To apply for this program, complete the FAFSA. Parents and students should be wary of companies requesting application fees for state and federal financial aid programs. If you have received an offer from such a company and are concerned about their business practices, you may wish to contact your local Better Business Bureau, the Consumer Protection Office of the Attorney General of Texas at 800-621-0508 or the Scholarship Scams Division of the Federal Trade Commission at 877-FTC-HELP.

The TEXAS Grant, a state program, should not be confused with the Texas National Grant offered by Consumer Grants U.S.A. of Florida.
